Bamboozling Badminton

Well, in our first season as a team in the badminton competition at Sth Hobart we have exceeded all expectations and made the grand final! This amazing achievment was completed last night when we had an unusual draw (173 - 173), a game that we should relly have won easily, but Hugh & Phil decided to make it interesting. Forunatley that were well aware of the rule that allows the team that finished higher on the ladder to go through... NOT!!!!! Damn we were lucky...

Thanks goes out to all team members for the season, you've done a fantastic job, and all that Sunday training appears to be helping! Thanks Bec for being the unofficial team captain, and lets see if we can finish the season with a grand final victory :)

A game that involves cash, sneakiness, bluff, bravery, and an ability to play it cool (having sunglasses also comes in handy). And with the addition of nicknames the game is complete.

Friday BBQs

The final days of summer actually brought a sunny day, and on a friday too! There's nothing better than starting the weekend by hanging out and relaxing, eating charred food, and kicking / throwing balls at each other. Here are some pics :)
